Our Windsor Farms project brought together a dynamic team of professionals and a wonderful couple with a strong vision for their dream home. After hearing about the listing, the clients—a bourbon aficionado and a live music enthusiast with an impressive collection of albums, and concert posters—moved less than a mile from their previous house to embrace this exciting opportunity. Collaborating with Menlo Architects and Gardner Construction, the home underwent a thoughtful redesign and seamless addition that respected the home’s original character while enhancing its functionality.

Duet Design Studio joined the project to plan and design the newly laid-out interiors, focusing on millwork details, custom window treatments, and furnishings. The clients prioritized spaces that reflected their personalities, collections, and love for entertaining. They drew inspiration from family traditions, incorporating heirloom furniture and borrowing elements like classic lighting and heavier trim profiles from the client’s mother’s home.

Every room in this home was intentionally designed with both beauty and purpose, blending the couple’s unique styles into a cohesive and inviting space. With their hands-on involvement and Duet Design Studio’s guidance, the result is a vibrant and meaningful home, perfect for both intimate moments and lively gatherings.
